Frequently Asked Questions
Payments
Do you accept cash or check payments?
To keep our recurring service running smoothly, we process all payments automatically using credit or debit cards capable of recurring billing. If you have unique payment circumstances and cannot pay by card, please reach out directly to see if alternative arrangements can be made.
How frequently am I billed?
Your payment schedule directly mirrors your service routine. If you are on a weekly cleanup plan, you will be billed weekly. If you choose bi-weekly visits, billing occurs every two weeks.
Cancellation and Flexibility
Can I cancel my service at any time?
Yes, you have complete flexibility. You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through the Current Customers page.
Is there a long-term contract or minimum commitment?
None at all. Whether you need us for a few weeks while recovering from an injury or want ongoing year-round maintenance, there are no long-term contracts required.
Signing Up and Getting Started
How do I get started with service?
Signing up takes less than three minutes! Just visit our online registration page, enter your address, select your desired scoop frequency, and securely save your payment details.
Is there any setup fee or long-term contract?
No contracts and no hidden setup fees. You pay as you go on a simple subscription basis, and you can pause or cancel your plan at any time.
When will my initial yard cleanup happen after I register?
In most cases, your first visit will be scheduled for the very next business day following registration. Weโll send you a confirmation as soon as your property is added to the route.
What information do I need to provide when enrolling?
To ensure a smooth first visit, weโll ask for basic contact details, your dogโs name(s), any specific gate access codes, and where you'd prefer us to leave the dirty bag.
How is my recurring service day determined?
To keep our routes efficient and environmentally friendly, we group properties by neighborhood. Your assigned weekday will depend on your address, but you will have the same consistent service day every week.
Can I request a specific day or timeframe for my visits?
Yes! If you need a specific day of the week or a tight arrival window, you can add a preferred schedule upgrade during signup for a small convenience fee.
What happens if my yard has built-up waste before my first visit?
If your yard hasn't been scooped in a while, your first visit will serve as an "Initial Clean." Weโll perform a deep sweep to reset your lawn so your ongoing subscription starts with a completely clean slate.
Service and Yard Visits
Does my pet need to stay indoors during the visit?
We love meeting friendly dogs and are happy to work alongside them while cleaning! However, if your pet is protective, skittish around strangers, or reactive, we kindly request that they remain inside during our scheduled visit for everyone's safety.
What service schedules are available?
We offer flexible subscription plans tailored to your needs: twice per week, weekly, or bi-weekly.
What days of the week do you operate?
Our regular field operations run Monday through Friday. If you don't choose a custom day add-on, we assign your visit to a fixed weekday that aligns with our surrounding route to keep service consistent week after week.
What tools do you use to clean the yard?
We utilize specialized heavy-duty tray scoopers paired with customizable rakes, which allow us to thoroughly lift waste from grass and landscaped surfaces without damaging your lawn.
Can you scoop gravel, mulch, dirt, or rocky areas?
Yes! We can service almost any terrain type, including rocks, bark dust, concrete, and soil. On the rare occasion that an area is excessively overgrown or difficult to access safely, we will notify you to adjust the plan or figure out a solution together.
What happens if the crew canโt access my yard (e.g., locked gate)?
If an entry point is blocked or unsafe upon arrival (such as a locked gate or an uncontained reactive dog), we will resume service on your next scheduled visit. Standard billing still applies because our team will have double the volume to clean during the subsequent visit. (Note: If you clear the waste yourself before the next visit, let us know and we will issue a credit for the skipped day).
How does snow or severe weather affect service?
If heavy snowfall covers the yard and prevents us from scooping, we will perform a double-cleanup on your next scheduled visit. Standard subscription billing remains active because our team will have twice the workload to clear once service resumes, and we pay our technicians extra for the additional labor. However, if you decide to clean the yard yourself during the snow pause, just let us know and weโll gladly issue a full refund for that skipped visit!
Where do you put the collected waste when finished?
We double-bag the waste securely and place it in your designated outdoor bin or near an agreed-upon exterior spot (like near your side gate). You will also receive an automated text confirming where the bag was left. We also offer an optional Haul-Away add-on if you'd prefer us to take the waste with us off-site.
